We built the tool we always needed
FlowDesk started as an internal tool at a 12-person startup that was drowning in notifications. Now it helps thousands of teams work with clarity.
Our Story
In 2021, our founding team was running a fast-growing startup with remote members across four time zones. We tried every productivity tool on the market. Each one promised to simplify our work -- and each one added another layer of complexity.
The problem wasn't a lack of tools. It was too many tools, too many notifications, and too many meetings to figure out what everyone was actually working on. We needed something that gave us clarity without demanding our attention.
So we built FlowDesk -- first for ourselves, then for teams like ours. The principle was simple: a productivity platform should produce more productivity, not more busywork.

What we believe
Clarity over complexity
Every feature we ship must make things clearer, not more complicated. If it adds cognitive load, it doesn't ship.
Async by default
Real-time has its place, but deep work is the default. We build for focus first and collaboration second.
Earn attention
Every notification, every email, every ping must earn the interruption. We guard your team's attention like it's our own.
Opinionated, not rigid
We have strong opinions about how great teams work, but we build flexible systems. Your workflow, your rules.
The people behind FlowDesk
A small, focused team that practices what we preach.
